A shortened 24 minute version focuses on the birth mothers‚ as they work through their emotions and face the realities of motherhood. It shows their courage as they make the most important decision of their lives. This version is used by many professional birth parent counselors to provide a sensitive and honest look at the open adoption process.
24 minute version, $29.99 + $4.00 Shipping and Handling
A full-length version (53 minutes) provides an honest and touching view of birth parent(s) investigating open adoption for their child. We watch five young women, of various ages and backgrounds, as they go through pregnancy; struggle with their readiness to parent, and hear the concerns of adoptive parents. The film also covers a reunion of a birth mother and the son she placed for adoption twenty years earlier. The film, while focused on birth parents, includes each member of the adoption triad.
